Festival of Schools' Music Making

Owning to the Covid-19 restrictions the 2020 concert of this most poplar event had to be cancelled. We are currently considering our plans for 2021.

As a Charity one of our aims to provide opportunity for young people to participate in music making. There no better way to achieve our objective than to work with local schools to organise a concert where school children can perform in a public setting in front of teachers, parents and family friends. For the past 11 years we have brought together annually, over 300 school children representing several schools in the area attracting  audiences of upwards of 200. Each school brings its own contribution to the show making it a delightful event in our calendar – not to be missed.

There is no entrance fee for the schools taking part and entrance to the show for the general public is free.

If you are a headteacher or a music specialist in your school and are interested in taking part a future Festival of Schools’ Music Making  we would love to hear from you.
